Night Ceremonies are held as an intimate gathering guided by Grandfather Fire, Tatewari, and led by a Marakame, a Wixárika spiritual guide. The evening begins with introductions and a purification ritual, helping each participant arrive with clarity and respect. Offerings are then prepared in the form of candles for the elements of water, earth, and fire, and these are presented toward the conclusion of the ceremony.
Throughout the night, sacred chants and dances are offered to honour the spirits of nature. Those who feel called may also share prayer songs with the sacred medicine. A gentle ritual of flowers and water blessings takes place, followed by the traditional candle prayer, where each participant receives a candle and joins in collective prayer, illuminated by its light.
