The Spirit of the Blue Deer

In an ancient Wixárika oral tradition, four young men embarked on a hunting expedition to secure sustenance for their community. They discovered a peyote plant arrangement resembling a deer figure, Marratutuyani, and brought it back to their village. The community distributed the peyote, eliminating hunger and thirst.
